Dear Lovers of good food,

My goal as chef of Juanita Bananas is to continue the tradition of the Seafarer's Inn. This restaurant was founded here on Culebra Island by my parents in 1970. They served fish caught by my father and prepared by my mother until 1989.

I am creating a modern and unique island cuisine to provide my guests with fresh local ingredients, prepared in an array of dishes; mainly focusing on traditional Puerto Rican and Caribbean ingredients. I believe in professional service as being an essential part of the dining experience. Our desire is to provide an exceptional service, combined with a casual environment in a very eco-friendly setting.

Our motivation at Juanita Bananas is our desire to share the beauty of our island along with our love for food and nature.

Our menus are composed from the best and freshest vegetables grown in our gardens and seafood caught in our waters. Our meats are supplied to us from the most reliable butchers in Puerto Rico.
